APEX Database
APEX Database
The APEX database is a dynamic, user friendly system updated twice weekly.
With approximately 25,000 records per year it contains port specific accounts of all crude laden voyages in tankers over 10,000 dwt and all product laden voyages in tankers over 60,000 dwt with an option to include the VLCC and Suezmax Weekly Monitor.
Key features include:
- Laden tanker movements by port of load/discharge
Latest laden voyages, loads and discharges from individual voyage/vessel level to aggregated totals. - Export and import oil volumes by port of load and discharge
Users can map actual trade volumes down to individual port level. By linking voyages to spot/time charterers, private owners and consignee data APEX identifies actual volumes shipped by specific companies/operators. - Oil in transit by origin, destination and vessel type
Latest oil on the water data allows users to assess volumes of crude about to hit key markets up to 6 weeks ahead. - Ballast voyages by origin, destination, vessel type and previous charter history
Latest ballast information enables users to see volume of tonnage ballasting to key load areas with expected arrival dates up to 5 weeks ahead. - Charter fixture details linked to actual voyages
By linking our extensive charter fixture database to vessel movement data Apex analysts are able to identify charter fixtures which actually take place. - Oil trade analysis by region and country
Apex data allows analysis of key market trends months before official data is released. - Tanker deployment analysis by size range and trade route
Deployment and Tonne mile statistics give crucial insight into past, present and changing trends in the shipping market. - Extensive, friendly database query functions
Allow you to quickly sort and filter by any of the available 60+ available fields; produce complex tabular analysis to aggregate data; graph and export data to other applications at the touch of a button. - Historical Oil on the Water function
Allows users to calculate daily, weekly or monthly OOW volumes by vessel size, trade route, or other user defined criteria, giving a unique reflection on historical oil tradesExamples:
