SeaWay
SeaWay is the online and CD-ROM version of the Lloyd’s Confidential Index and has been designed in partnership with British Marine Managers Ltd. By utilising our combined resources SeaWay has been developed with the demands of the market in mind, to add maximum flexibility and functionality to the trusted content of the highly regarded Lloyd’s Confidential Index.
SeaWay’s main functions are designed to enhance your activities by allowing you to easily retrieve and manipulate critical information from the world’s largest commercial shipping database.
SeaWay includes:
Vessel Register – Lists key information and characteristics on 100,000 vessels in the merchant fleet.
Vessel Ownership Information – Provides comprehensive ownership information on all the vessels listed.
Casualty Information – Provides a complete casualty history for each vessel and includes all incidents as well as constructive and actual total losses.
Detention and Inspection Information – Provides a complete record of past detentions and inspections and lists the causes behind any arrest and whether an inspection led to a detention.
SeaWay also includes a variety of standard reports including:
- Companies operating within a chosen country
- Report showing characteristics and ownership of a vessel
- Detailed fleet listing by company
- Fleet report by company
- ISM coded vessels by vessel
- ISM coded vessels by company
- List of companies by aggregated tonnage of their total fleet
- Summary of new buildings
- Summary report of vessels on order
- Statistical report of casualties grouped by casualty type and vessel type
- Report showing the detention and inspection history for every owner and manager
- Casualty trend analysis report
You can also use the ‘Query All’ function which is an advanced search facility which allows you to interrogate every field of data within SeaWay.
SeaWay is designed to allow you to add your own notes to any record which can be viewed by all the users of the system.
